Our StoryWith a $5,000 loan, two refurbished sewing machines, and a desire to make a more effective training collar, Sharon Madere started Premier Pet Products in 1989, making dog collars in a spare bedroom of their small home.
Through the years our products have earned the trust of leading behaviorists, veterinarians and trainers. Premier Pet Products® continues to manufacture and distribute collars, leashes, toys and a wide variety of pet products. Our PassionIt brings us great joy to manufacture and distribute amazing products for dogs, cats, birds, ferrets and even pot-bellied pigs. There’s nothing more rewarding to us than to see happy people with happy pets.
Our People90 animal lovers work at Premier. Our team has hands-on pet experience and is made up of 30 pet sitters, 13 animal rescue volunteers, 8 animal foster parents, and 3 dog trainers.
Our InspirationOur motivation, ideas and knowledge come from the pets who share our lives. Our extended family consists of 93 dogs, 53 cats, 94 fish, 8 birds, 6 horses, 3 rabbits, 2 tortoises, 2 iguanas, 2 guinea pigs, 1 snake and a hamster.
